By using vehicle specific install frames for all of our storage boxes that bolt to the existing vehicle sub frame, it goes along way in keeping the boxes solid in the event of an accident. So far our boxes have survived a roll over and an accidental shotgun firing from inside the box. Though we cannot guarantee they will survive everything , we strive to make them as safe as we can. We also work towards making them difficult to break into. Anyone given enough time could most likely break into just about any component on the market, but by working in a few key designs we work at making it very difficult for it to be broken into quickly or easily. The last thing anyone wants is for police equipment to end up in the wrong hands! We offer Aluminum shell boxes with 16ga steel drawers for a lightweight yet sturdy option. We offer all steel boxes and components that use the thinnest gauge possible , yet still maintaining the structural sturdiness required for the job. All of our products have a long life. We have storage boxes still in use today that were installed over 10 years ago! Even through vehicle model changes, all the departments had to do was order a different style install frame at a small fraction of the cost of a replacement box.
